The Student Union of the University of Jyväskylä owns an array of useful household tools and items the members of the Union are welcome to rent or borrow for free. The items can be picked up at the Central Office or various locations in Kortepohja Student Village.

The Subcommittee for Environmental Affairs has a handy storage of reusable utensils and dishes that subject associations and other student groups may borrow for their parties and events. Borrowing these dishes is highly recommended as it helps to cut down the usage of disposable plates and cups, which are harmful to the environment. Furthermore, plastic dishes makes serving food cheaper and easier!
The Student Union lends dishes and utensils to subject associations and other sub-organizations of JYY against a deposit of 10 euros. The dishes can be picked up at the Central Office in Student House Ilokivi.

- 44 teaspoons
- 6 plastic bowls
- 2 plastic jugs
Contact the Office Secretary well prior to your event and make sure the dishes you need will be available. Check the opening hours of the Central Office – the dishes can only be picked up when the Office is open. As you collect the dishes from Student House Ilokivi, find out when the dishes should be returned there.
Wash and dry the used dishes and utensils before you return them to the Central Office. Note that the borrowers must compensate for any dirty or lost items.

- a wine tub, a water trap and a siphon 2 €/week (even one extra day counts as a new week)
