JYROCK TICKET SALE ON CAMPUS
Students’ very own indoor festival Jyrock will have a kick-start this Friday. If you still haven’t got your ticket, you can buy one on the campus pop-up ticket sales: Mon 9.4. Agora 11-13 / Tue 10.4. Lozzi 11-13 / Wed 11.4. Agora 11-13 / Thu 12.4. Rentukka 16-18.

Amazing Race Jyväskylä ticket sale begins on Friday 12.4. at 12.00. Tickets by Liveto are sold in sets of four (one team) and there are 150 tickets available. Amazing Race Jyväskylä is on 30th of April 2018.

FEED FORWARD WEEK

During the Feed Forward Week we will concentrate on improving things by giving feedback that is focusing on the future improvements, so called Feed Forward! What would you like to give feedback on? How could things be done better? Let us know! You can give feedback the whole week on campus and online.

APPLY FOR A TENNIS TURN FOR SUMMER
Students can now apply for a tennis turn for the next summer. The venues are the campus sports field and the campus tennis fields. Apply by 20th of April. There’s a fee for the tennis field turns. The turns at the campus field are free of charge.

SINFIS: PREMIERE

The spring term of Sinfis will culminate in the concert where you can hear music which is performed less often – there are two gorgeous premieres coming. The main theme of the concert will be exceptional solo instruments played with symphony orchestra; this time the xylophone and the saxophone. Warmly welcome!

MITÄ? VEGAN CAFÉ

Mitä-verkosto’s local group in Jyväskylä is setting up a vegan café on Tuesday 10th of April at Ruusupuisto’s main lobby. The café is open from 11am to 3pm, and at noon we will be joined by professor Tiina Silvasti, who will talk about some ethical and societal issues regarding food (in Finnish). Come and enjoy our treats – and remember to bring cash! The proceeds will go to Plan International’s important work for girls’ rights.

WEEKEND THESIS UNDERTAKING
13.-15.4. Kortepohja Student Village
Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is a weekend dedicated to writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! So take your laptop with you, bring yourself to Kortepohja, meet others who are also battling with their Master’s or Bachelor’s thesis, set a goal for the weekend and share it with the others. Then just get to work! On Sunday we will check how these goals were accomplished.

MICROPLASTICS WORKSHOP
Wed 11.4. 16.30-18.30 Lea Pulkkinen auditorium, Agora
You are warmly welcome to the microplastic workshop organized by the UN association of Jyväskylä! We will learn about the microplastic problem and discuss how to reduce the amount of microplastic in our daily life. Workshop is in English, free of charge, and open for everyone. The event will start with a presentation by Samuel Hartikainen, researcher of microplastics in the University of Eastern Finland. After the presentation there is a possibility to ask questions!

HYMNS IN VAKKARI – TULUS’ NEW ALBUM CONCERT

Hymns in Vakkari? Yes, that’s correct! A new a cappella album by Tulus is now out, and you all have a chance to hear the latest songs! These hymns are far for traditional, which is why we chose a surprising location as well. How does a hymn sound as a tango or a folk song? Come and listen! Entrance 4€ (but you can try and bargain!).
