Erin Käki started as JYY’s new translation intern on 9th of September. The length of the internship is three months.
In 2024, Käki graduated with a master’s degree from the multidisciplinary English language expert programme. Previously, she has been a part of the board of English students’ association Magna Carta ry. She acted as the representative of social affairs, development cooperation and environmental affairs, as well as the vice-chairperson in 2023.
“I am eager to see how daily life will look like at JYY’s office during fall. It is interesting to get to see how far the Student Union’s translation needs can reach, and I am ready to take on any challenge during my internship”, Käki says.
The duties of the internship period include, for example, translating JYY’s new rules and the Council of Representative’s meeting documents, as well as other projects that promote JYY’s bilingualism.
