RULES
- There is a total of 7 checkpoints to be completed 3 of which are so-called “cold checkpoint”, whose tasks are checked at the finish area. The tasks for the cold checkpoints can be found at the checkpoints as A3-sized laminated instruction sheets. Remember to look for them. The cold checkpoints are 4, 6 and 7.
- The time limit is 6 hours, regardless of the starting time. The checkpoint closes at 6 pm.
- Once a checkpoint is completed, the team will receive a stamp/mark of the checkpoint on the performance pass. Except for cold checkpoints, which will be checked at the finish area.
- A team will receive a time penalty of 15 minutes for failing to complete a checkpoint.
- There must be a 5 minute time limit on the grid, even if the team only wants to take the time penalty (15 minutes).
- Once a checkpoint has been completed, the checkpoint organiser will display a clue for the next checkpoint. It is recommended to take a picture of the clue.
- When all the checkpoints have been marked as completed on the pass, the team heads to the finish place, i.e. the lobby of the Ilokivi Student House.
- The team can move around by bus, walking or running.
- The team may not use other motorised vehicles such as cars, taxis, electric scooters, electric bicycles or basic bicycles.
- If a team is proven to be using any of the above means of transport, the team will receive a 30-minute time penalty. Other teams can report any team infringing the rules, with photos, to the organisers on 045 137 1961.
For further clues, please send a message with the team name as a SMS or WhatsApp or Telegram message to 045 137 1961. There will be 2 additional clues per checkpoint. For each additional clue, the team will receive a time penalty of 15 minutes.
TEAM
All team members must be higher education students and of legal age. Institution does not matter.
Teams must have 4 members, as the checkpoints are designed for 4 people. If one of the team members falls ill on the morning of the race, we can grant an exemption to participate. This must be reported at the time of registration.
