EUROPE DAY SITSFEST

Europe Day sitsfest is organised in the legendary Lillukka in Kortepohja. In this academic party, we will finalize the plan for the EU’s foreign policy and tastefully discuss the world after the Brexit. Tonight, toast masters will punish those breaking the European regulations! The event is open for everyone.

WEEKEND THESIS UNDERTAKING
11.-13.5.2018 Kortepohja student village
Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is a weekend dedicated to writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! Take your laptop with you, bring yourself to the common room (left from the entrance) in Rentukka in Kortepohja, meet others who are also battling with their Master’s or Bachelor’s thesis, set a goal for the weekend and share it with the others. Then just get to work! On Sunday we will check how these goals are accomplished.

COME MEET CARE AND READING DOGS AT THE UNIVERSITY
15.-16.5. 15-17, MaA104
In the new project, care and reading dogs are introduced on campus to enhance the well-being and learning ability of students, as well as to promote new pedagogical methods. The project is launched with an open house at the Jyväskylä University campus!

DISCOVERY TUESDAY
On Tuesday evenings 11.9-9.10.
Discovery Tuesday is a five-week startup-brainstorming program where teams get to create and develop business ideas, here in Jyväskylä. During five sessions we will go through the key concepts on validating a business idea. This programme is for everyone interested in entrepreneurship. To participate, you don’t need an idea, just the right mindset!
