JYROCK’S FIRST PERFORMER IS PUBLISHED
Jyrock at Ilokivi 17.-18.4.2020
The first artist of the Jyrock 2020 has been released: Jaakko Eino Kalevi from Jyväskylä makes a double return to the Ilokivi Stage, as in addition to his band, there will be a mysterious solo performance ’The Bomb’ that hardly anyone knows anything about. Limited number

INDEPENDENCE DAY TORCH PARADE
Fri 6.12. at 18.00 University main building
The traditional torch parade takes off in front of the university’s main building at 6pm. The parade continues to the Old Cemetery, where the ceremony of laying the wreath on the soldiers’ grave takes place at 6.30pm. The event is organized by the 1st year students of the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Jyväskylä. You can wear your student cap if you have one.
DECEMBER WEEKEND THESIS UNDERTAKING

Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is a weekend dedicated to writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! So take your laptop with you, bring yourself to the meeting room of the B-building in Kortepohja, meet others who are also battling with their Master’s or Bachelor’s thesis, set your goals for the weekend and share them with the others. Then, just get to work! On Sunday, we will check how well the goals have been reached.
