Do you want to work in Nepal in 2020?

Would you like to do an internship in Nepal and work for an NGO that supports girl’s education? Together with Aurora Borealis ry and Loo Niva Child Concern Group, two JYU master’s students have the opportunity to do their internship in Nepal. The internship is open for all education and international development and cooperation master’s level students. The selected students can get credits for the internship and add it to their master’s degree.

The interns will get to do hands on work with Loo Niva and develop the skills they have acquired during their studies and through previous experiences. The education student will focus more on teaching and teaching development, and the international development & cooperation student will be more involved with daily functions of the NGO and helping to develop their work.

The internship will start between 1st April and 1st May 2020 and continue for three months onwards. This is an unpaid internship, but the students can apply for JYU travel grants, other scholarships, and Aurora Borealis ry will award the students with a small scholarship.

The deadline for applications is 15th October 2019.
