Amazing Race Jyväskylä is an urban orienteering competition for university students in Jyväskylä. The event will take place on the eve of May 30, 2022 in the city of Jyväskylä. Teams navigate from cross to cross based on clues. The track will make an extensive lap in Jyväskylä, and the fastest team will win the competition.
The tasks of the project coordinator include planning and practical arrangements for the event, applying for partners and grants to fund the event, setting up a working group and liaising between its members.
The work requires fluent Finnish, self-initiative as well as teamwork, organization and project management skills. The work is project-based and will begin in January or by appointment. The work focuses on March-April. Post-event work and final reporting will take some time in May. The fee to be paid for the task is € 1,200.
Jyrock is Finland’s oldest and most famous indoor festival. The two-day festival will take place on April 8-9, 2022 in Ilokivi. New and emerging artists will perform at the festival.
The duties of the Jyrock volunteer coordinator include the recruitment of volunteers, orientation, motivation and coordination of their shifts, and the organization of the karonkka. The coordinator also assists the Jyrock team in other production processes as needed. There is no fee for the task, but it can be negotiated as part of a study module, for example. This job also requires fluent Finnish.
The search for both coordinator positions will end on Friday, December 14, 2021.
