DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION WEEK 2018
29.10.-3.11.
Are you interested in improving the environment and our communities, locally and internationally while working together? The week’s theme is “What can one do?”. During the week, we will try to figure out what one person can do in order to make a positive impact on the environment and society. We will cover various topics such as plastic, diet, traveling, fashion, energy and many other. The events during the week will include, for example a Quiz Night, a panel discussion, brunch and other interesting events.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY’S DOCUMENTATION BY PHOTOGRAPHING
Wed 31.10. at 8-20 University library
Jyväskylä University main library is documenting the library-use to the collections of the Open Science Centre. The documentation will be done during the opening hours. If you wish not to be in any photos, please tag a post-it (you can find post-its near the main entrance) on a visible spot on your clothes, and we will take this into account in the documentation process. MSLA1003 Yellow Library documentation course and Open Science Centre are organizing the photographing.

LIGHTS ON! GOES CHOCOLATE TASTING

Lights on! is a super fun night organized by Lumina Campus – and you’re invited! A night that is all about having fun and getting to know new people. This time we are doing something that has not been done in the campus before. That is, a chocolate tasting night! TUFF! ja and JYY’s Subcommittee for Cultural Affairs bring two professional DJ’s at Ilokivi to show how it’s done! We’ll learn about vinyls, looping, beat mixing and other basic skills that hiphop and dance music DJ’s know. Course is suitable for beginners and those with basic knowledge. We’ll use real vinyls and digital Serato software during the course.

LITTLE YELLOW BOOTS MOVIE NIGHT
