Will you meet us at Ilokivi Venue? Sober Curious Friending will take place for the first time at Venue on Friday 11.10. from 6 pm to 10 pm. As the name suggests, this is a sober curious speed friending, where you can get to know interdisciplinary university and student from the university of applied sciences students from different disciplines.

The event is free of charge and you do not need to register in advance. The speed friending will take the form of bingo, which means that when you arrive at the event you will receive a bingo card with statements that you can use as conversation starters. If you find the right person to match all the statement, you’ll get an overall badge!

The Speed Friending round lasts 15 minutes and your partner for the round is freely chosen from those present. So no stiff conversation and no moving from table to table! Even if you come later to the event, you can easily join in.

The bar at Ilokivi Venue will be open during the event and the mocktail list for the evening is not to be missed! The Venue is also an accessible space.

The event is in accordance with JYY’s Safe Space Principles. By attending the event, you agree to abide by the principles. The event will be attended by a Trusted Person, who you will recognise by the JYY grey hoodie/college and the Trusted Person pin. You can contact the Trusted Person at a low threshold if you feel that you are being harassed or that the Safe Space Principles has been breached.
