Welcome to meet the higher education students at the Speed Friending by JYY event! The event will take place on Wednesday 8.1. at 17:00 starting at Ilokivi Venue.

The event is free of charge and you do not need to register in advance. Speed friending will take the form of bingo, i.e. when you arrive at the event you will receive a bingo table, the claims on the bingo card can be used as conversation starters. We welcome all higher education students to the event!

The Speed Friending round will last 15 minutes and the discussion partner will be freely chosen from the participants. So no awkward conversations and moving from table to table! Even if you come later to the event, you can easily join in.

FOOD, DRINKS AND CLOAKROOM
The Ilokivi Venue bar will be closed during the event, but JYY will provide coffee, tea, water and juice for participants. You can bring your own non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to the Venue during the event. The cloakroom is free of charge and self-service.

JYY’S SAFER SPACE PRINCIPLES
The event will follow JYY’s safer space principles and there will always be a JYY’s Trusted Person present. You can recognise the Trusted Person by the JYY grey hoodie and the Trusted Person badge. You can contact the Trusted Person with a low threshold if you feel that the principles of a safer space have been violated. Check out the safer space principles here.
