Education is a key to a bright future. In Nepal, not everyone can afford to study. Therefore JYY, together with the Aurora Borealis association, supports young Nepali women in their higher education studies.
For instance, in the future, you can support youngsters of very limited means who were selected for this project by purchasing the development cooperation lunch tickets in Ilokivi restaurant. From tuition fees to books and from school materials to the trips to school, everything that is necessary for starting their studies is sponsored for these youngsters.
Welcome to learn more and celebrate our new cooperation on the Nepal night which will be held on Thursday 19 April. During this relaxed kick-off event, we are planning to get to know a bit the Nepali culture and Aurora Borealis will also tell about their work. There will be some Nepali snacks as well as an amazing dance performance by our special guests, Sirapa Shresthalta and Sarath Arjunanilta. We’ll be starting at 17 o’clock in Lyhty (P-building, main campus).
