It’s that time of autumn again, when horror movie lovers gather at Ilokivi Venue for the third consecutive Horror Appro on Thursday 10.10. There will be screenings of 6 horror films in 13 hours with no admission fee!

To get watch the films, you must be a JYY member and book your ticket. If you can’t make it to the film, please cancel your ticket. You can cancel your ticket by sending an email to Suvi Liukkonen, JYY’s event producer, at suvi.liukkonen @ jyy.fi. Tickets can be booked from Wednesday 2 October from 1:00 pm onwards on the Kide.app here.

AND to get a Horror Appro badge you only need to watch two films! When you arrive to see the films, you will receive an appro pass to collect stamps from the films you have seen. Once you have watched two films, you can get the badge by showing the pass stamp at the ticket counter of the Ilokivi Venue.

You can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks to the Ilokivi Venue. The Ilokivi Venue is accessible. The event is K-18.

The event is in accordance with JYY’s Safe Space Principles. By attending the event, you agree to abide by the principles. The event will be attended by a Trusted Person, who you will recognise by the JYY grey hoodie/college and the Trusted Person pin. You can contact the Trusted Person at a low threshold if you feel that you are being harassed or that the Safe Space Principles has been breached.
