PUBLISHING SCHEDULE FOR THE STUDENT NEWS THIS FALL

The Student News will be published three more time this year. Please notice the publishing schedule when submitting your news. Student News will be published for the week 45 (6.-12.11., news must be submitted by 1.11.), Double Student News for weeks 46-47 (13.-26.11., news must be submitted by 8.11.) and for the week 48 and the rest of this year (27.11.-31.12., news must be submitted by 22.11.).

JYY COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES ELECTION BEGINS

Advance voting 2.-3.11.2017 and actual election days 6.-8.11.2017
The future is at your fingertips! The election is for the first time electronic which means that you can vote wherever you like with a device connected to internet. The voting system is open on every election day from 8am to 8pm.

The Council of Representatives is the highest decision-making body in the Student Union. It makes the most important decisions concerning the Student Union, such as membership fee, budget and new statutes. The term of office of the Council elected in 2017 is for two years, starting from December 2017.

JYY organizes an election fair on Wednesday 1st of November! At the fair every student has an opportunity to get familiar with the candidates on different stands.
Wed 1.11. at 12-14, Agora auditorium 2
JYY organizes an election panel at Agora auditorium 2. In the panel, the candidates will share their thoughts on current student life issues, the student union, and the city of Jyväskylä. The election panel is held in Finnish.
