Voting is conducted entirely electronically
Voting will take place between October 30–31 and November 3–6 in the electronic Vakka system, which can be accessed using your personal university username and password. The system will be accessible on all voting days between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., except on the last voting day, November 6, when access will be available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. The service allows you to change your vote during the voting period. Although voting is open seemingly in two rounds, there is no advance voting in the election. The voting is continuous, but ballot boxes will be closed for the weekend of November 1–2.
There is a large, glorious, colourful button at the top of the page, but you can also click on the smaller one below it. Both buttons will take you to the voting page.
You’ll need your university . Voting is secure and confidential – votes cannot be traced back to individuals. This means that there won’t be a guy behind the screen checking who you voted for in the system.
