The performers of the legendary festival Jyrock will be published on Monday 14.1. Affordable Early Bird pre-tickets on sale until Sunday 13.1.

Academic Sports spring season is here! During the week 14.-20.1.2019, you can join all the group classes and ball games for free, without the sports sticker. You don’t have to sign up for the classes.

UNISOUNDS’ FIRST PRACTISE OF THE YEAR

UniSounds is the university’s international, fun and relaxed choir. The aim is to get to know people and folk music from around the world. There’s no auditioning and you don’t have to have previous experience. Everyone is welcome. We train every Friday in Musica.

WEEKEND THESIS UNDERTAKING

The Weekend Thesis Undertaking is a weekend dedicated to writing one’s thesis. Peer pressure truly produces results, so grab your laptop, get to Lillukka and meet others who are currently tackling their thesis.

TRADITIONAL JAPANESE MARTIAL ARTS SHOW
Sat 19.1.2019 at 15 Jyväskylä university function hall (building C)
There are 11 different schools performing, all trained in Finland as well.
The show has been organized in Helsinki once before and it’s now in Jyväskylä for the first time. Tickets: Adults 8 €, students 6 €, kids 5-12 y.
5 €. The profit goes directly to Central Finland Health Care District’s department of childhood diseases.

ROLLER DERBY BASIC COURSE
21.1. – 8.3. Kuokkalan Graniitti
Jyväskylä Roller Derby organizes a roller derby basic course in Jan-Mar.
The course includes 14 trainings. We’ll learn the right skating style, braking, safe way to fall down and the basics and rules of contact sports. Sign-up by sending a Facebook message.
