CULTURE COMMITTEE’S APPLICATION ROUND FALL 2018

Culture committee funds the recreational activities for university staff and students with amounts up 800–1000 euros (Does not apply to study and performing costs outside the university). The applications are processed in October and the applicants will be informed about the decisions.

RECRUITING
TAKE PART IN CIRCULAR ECONOMY TRAINING
Starting 3.9.-15.10.2018. You can still join!
The project of circular economy education, started in 2017, trains Finnish university students to become experts of circular economy. The project, coordinated by the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, focuses on the circular economy in food system. The courses are planned and implemented in co-operation with the University of Vaasa, Savonia University of Applied Sciences, the University of Jyväskylä and Karelia University of Applied Sciences. The study module examines the circular economy in food chains from various perspectives.

WHAT TO DO
AMERICAN FOOTBALL BASIC COURSE FOR ACADEMIC STUDENTS
Mon 17.9. Kilpinen school at 20.45 and Sat 22.9. at 18.15, Hipposhall football cellar
Jyväskylä Renegades organizes an American football basic course. Jyväskylä’s academic students are all welcome! You only need to have sport clothes and a water bottle with you. After the course the rehearsals will continue similarly on Mondays and Saturdays.
