UNIVERSITY LIBRARY’S DOCUMENTATION BY SOUND RECORDING

Information for library users
Jyväskylä University main library is documenting the sounds of library-use to the collections of the Open Science Centre on WEDNESDAY 21.11.2018. Sound recordings are done to document the different sounds of the library, not any personal discussions. MSLA1003 Yellow Library documentation course and Open Science Centre/Science Museum are organizing the documentation.

TWO MORE DAYS TO APPLY TO BECOME JYY’S DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION COORDINATOR!

Do you want to work in the field of development cooperation? Are you interested in project planning and management? The Student Union’s (JYY) Subcommittee for development cooperation is looking for two Development cooperation coordinators whose main tasks are active participation to the planning process of JYY’s new project(s), application for funds and project coordination. Acting as the coordinator provides an excellent opportunity to learn about development cooperation and project management in practice. The work begins immediately. The dates of the training will be mutually agreed upon. A nominal compensation is paid for the position.

WHAT TO DO
KNOWLEDGE SHARING EVENT
Mon-Tue 19.-20.11. 10-16 at Ruusupuisto and Agora
Knowledge Sharing Event is organized at Ruusupuisto and Agora on 19.-20.11. The aim is to bring together scholars, students, active volunteers and policy-makers. We’ll discuss some of the newest ethnographic research and try to find solutions to immigration, multiliteracy education and challenges of research ethics. There is programme on both days from 10am to 4pm. Both Finnish and English will be used. No sign-up is necessary. Welcome!
