It’s time to update your student card for the new academic year! Get the sticker for your student card at JYY Central Office or at the Student Services in building T. Pick up JYY’s academic calendar at the same time!

COME WRITE JYLKKÄRI WITH US

You are welcome to join us in Jylkkäri’s first assistant meeting of the autumn. Jylkkäri is constantly looking for new assistants to help us create a kind of newspaper that students in Jyväskylä want to read. No previous experience is required, as the Jylkkäri staff will help and advice when needed. A reward is paid of all the published texts and pictures. We offer coffee, tea and small snacks!

CANTINOVUM IS LOOKING FOR SINGERS
Tue 5.9. and Tue 12.9. at 17-18, JAMK music campus, class 245 (Pitkäkatu 18-22, 2. floor)
Cantinovum, the chamber choir of the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, is looking for new singers!
Prepare to sing a song of your choice without accompaniment. We appreciate previous choir experience, and experience on reading musical notes. You don’t have to be a student to join – the main thing is that you’re a nice person ja an enthusiastic singer!
Cantinovum practices on Tuesdays at 18-21 in JAMK’s Hannikaissali. In addition, we organize weekend camps approximately two times a term.

SHORINJI KEMPO INTRODUCTION AND BASIC COURSE

Shorinji Kempo is japanise budo and self-defence sport, where you compete against yourself. The aim is mental development through physical martial arts. Come and get to know what it’s all about! You can also sign up for the basic course.
