JYY Central Office is closed on Monday and Tuesday, as as the staff members are participating in the autumn seminar organized by SYL. You can pick up a student sticker at the Student Services, in the second floor of building T.
ELECTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES – ARE YOU A CANDIDATE?

Notices of candidacy by 4.10. at 12:00
Every second year, students elect the Council of Representatives. The Council makes the most important decisions concerning the Student Union, such as membership fee, budget and new statutes. New members for the next term will be elected
Members of the Student Union that are currently registered as students at the University of Jyväskylä are eligible to vote at the election.
Advance voting: 2.11.-3.11.
Election days: 6.11.-8.11.
Now is the time to establish electoral alliances or circles. If you want to register as a candidate, you should contact the already existing groups or establish a new one with like-minded people. You can also run for the council as an independent candidate. JYY will publish group introductions and contacts online so that the groups and candidates can find each other. If you are establishing alliances, please contact tiedottaja@jyy.fi.

On the World Mental Health Day, nine student associations welcome you to a seminar – a seminar that inspires us to think about what in art gives us hope, especially from the point of view of students’ mental health. The seminar includes speakers (in Finnish), pop-ups, a panel discussion (in Finnish), and versatile workshops (one of them suitable for English speakers). There is a limited amount of places for each workshop, so you might want to check them out, and decide which one is for you well before the sign-up opens on Tuesday 26.9.
