On this page you’ll find both a list and short descriptions of the electoral alliances registered in this year’s RepCo elections. An electoral alliance is a group consisting of two or more candidates, which in practice corresponds to i.e. a political party in parliamentary elections. You can form an electoral alliance by submitting a notification of the establishment of an electoral alliance by October 1

Alvarin unioni (The Union of Alvar) (AU)
Alvarin unioni is an active, non-party affiliated council group that is open to all students regardless of what they study. Important themes for us are student wellbeing, making university more international, building communities and community spirit, supporting student associations, a more inclusive university and keeping good care of JYY’s economy.

Natural scientists bringing both the Ylistö and Mattilanniemi (+Agora) campuses to the student union’s horizon! Since 2011 we have acted independently of political parties, representing both students and natural science student associations in the Representative council.
