THE TOTAL VOTING PERCENTAGE DECREASED – POLITICALLY UNAFFILIATED GROUPS KEEP THEIR SLIGHT MAJORITY
The voting percentage in the Student Union Council of Representatives Elections 2019 fell slightly compared to the last elections. P&D retains the title of largest council group and Elma Hyöky of the Greens received 98 votes, more than any other candidate. JYY REFORMS THE BUSINESS ORGANIZATION TO MEET THE STRATEGY NEEDS
JYY is not only a student advocacy organization, but it also has significant business operations. JYY’s
business organization was restructured to meet its strategic goals. The reorganization reinforced the composition of the business management team and merged community management with JYY’s residential services organization. Some of the titles of business executives also changed.

LUOVA ILTA IN POPPARI

Subject associations Stimulus, Pedago, Emile, Abakus, Varkaat and Pedaaliorganize an event called Luova Ilta at Poppari. Luova Ilta is an open stage type of event where everyone can come and perform in the way they want – or just enjoy the show. There’s a pre-registration for performers but you can hop on the stage later in the evening without registration, if there’s time.

IDESCO RED NOSE FUNDRAISING BAKE SALE

You like baked goodies? Come to Agora Lobby next Thursday and do something good for yourself and help children all around the world at the same time! The money raised by the Bake Sale goes towards the Red Nose Day Fund supporting projects for children in many different countries!
NOVEMBER’S WEEKEND THESIS UNDERTAKING

Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is a weekend dedicated to writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! So take your laptop with you sand meet others battling with their Master’s or Bachelor’s thesis, set your goals for the weekend and share them with the others. Then, just get to work! On Sunday, we will check how well the goals have been reached.
