JYY’s association seminar is a yearly two-day training event, designed to bring association actives together to prepare for the coming association year.
JYY’s association seminar
The JYY association seminar is a two-day annual training event organized by the student union. It helps association representatives within the student community prepare for the upcoming association year. The seminar brings together active members of associations to learn, network, and kick off the new association year together. The seminar is free of charge for all associations operating within JYY, and participants are provided with food during the event.
Through trainings, workshops, and expert presentations, participants gain up-to-date information and practical tools for planning, organizing, and developing their activities.
The event includes a wide range of training sessions covering:
- association activities and the basics of board work
- association law and good governance
- equality and accessibility
- advocacy work, tutoring, sustainable development, and event communications
