Student Health Services
Finnish Student Health Service
Student healthcare for higher education students is provided by the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS), which offers general health, mental health, and oral health services. You can primarily use FSHS services at the service point of your study city, but you may also access them elsewhere in Finland when needed. The services are covered by the student healthcare fee, which students pay to Kela.

Students can also use public health services, but these are not included in the FSHS fee. On weekdays, you can contact your local health center. In urgent situations during evenings and weekends, care is provided by the emergency clinic at Nova Hospital. However, always call the free Medical Helpline first at 116 117.
