JYY nominates Filip Godlewski to the Board of the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL) for 2027
JYY’s Representative Council has decided in its meeting on September 15th, 2026 to nominate Filip Godlewski for the Board of SYL for 2027.
“The next term will be a decisive one. Parliamentary elections will be held next year, followed by government negotiations. SYL must have a seat at the table when decisions about Finland’s future are being made. The goals of the student movement must be on the table – and we must also make sure they stay there”, Godlewski states.
Godlewski has served on the JYY Board this year, focusing on academic and international affairs.
SYL’s Board will be elected at the General Assembly on 13–14 November.
